Too Many Tragedies

A young boy, 5 years old, is running around, jumping in the pool. Suddenly, he slips while jumping and lands on his 3-year-old sister. Their mother watches in horror as the pool turns bloody and both of them start sinking to the bottom. She has a split-second to choose which one to save.

The boy survives, but the little girl doesn’t. Unable to cope with the tragedy, the mother takes her own life.

The struggles and tragedies the boy endures growing up will tug at your heart and the ending will have you gripping the book, begging for a couple of more chapters.

The Beached Seaplane

   While Randy and Sarah are taking a leisurely paddle on their kayaks down the Suwannee River, Bobby Blain is robbing the Clearwater Beach Bank.

   After bullets wound the pilot and hit a fuel line, they land on the Suwannee river just downriver from Randy and Sarah.

   In an effort to escape, Bobby kidnaps Sarah. After she frees herself and escapes, she identifies him, leading to his arrest.  He escapes, sets fire to their boat, and attempts to kill them before disappearing.

   With twists and turns throughout the book and the surprising, emotional ending will have you wondering if you should be happy or sad.
